Over a career that spans nearly 20 years, Kevin has earned a reputation as a highly respected communicator, mentor and thought and opinion leader in public relations, branding and stakeholder engagement. He has a proven track record of success at the senior executive level in Canada and the United States.
For nearly a decade he directed corporate communications and pubic affairs at Envirotest Canada, contractor for the Lower Mainland’s high-profile vehicle emissions testing program known as AirCare and is the Vice President Corporate Communications and Public Affairs with Syntaris Power Corp., a Vancouver-based renewable energy company.
A past-President of the Vancouver chapter of the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS), and Director of the national board of CPRS he currently sits on the Communications committee for the Canadian Public Relations Society and lends his communications skills to a number of non-profit organizations in the lower mainland. Kevin is a recipient of the CPRS Signature Award for Excellence in Communications.
A strong advocate of professional ethics and a promoter of industry best practices, Mr. Boothroyd is an early adopter of social media and leading edge communications practices. He is a regular presenter to business groups and professional associations across the country.
Mr. Boothroyd had a successful career as a news reporter prior to entering the practice of public relations.
