Fremar Construction
So, we know these houses exist – but who makes them?
Fred Mcleod, Owner of Fremar Construction has been creating magnificent homes for some of Vancouver’s wealthiest people for almost 30 years. When we started working with Fred he was not sure that he needed a website as his business is word-of-mouth however he did recognized that the internet is a resource to help people choose who to work with.
The aim of this project was to clearly show that the projects Fred works on are important, for instance In 1898, Francis William Caulfeild saw the wilderness that is now the West Vancouver shoreline and had a vision – Build a house and name the area after himself. Almost 100 years later Fremar was hired by the new owner of the original Caulfeild waterfront property and a multi-million dollar project began that was tasteful and senstive to its historic roots.
Two months after the Fremar Construction website was launched we receive an email from Fred stating “I emailed and phoned people / businesses I know and casually mentioned my new website – what happened next was surprising. After they reviewed my web site people I have known for years told me they had no idea the full scope of what we do. From there we have been short listed for potential work”.
Lesson here – Don’t assume people you know, even your clients, know what you do. Truth is people are busy – the job of a well thought out brand is to help everyone you work with and your potential clients to understand what you actually do and more importantly – how you can benefit them.
