Karen Knowles was a successful Vancouver real estate agent who wanted to set herself apart from the rest of the field. After a year spent researching branding and marketing firms, she came to Living Blueprint Creative in 2006 and made an investment in her future. Karen’s intention was to specialize in high-end homes, so Living Blueprint’s challenge was to create a brand image that was unique, sophisticated, professional, and that communicated approachability and a commitment to excellent service.

Living Blueprint worked closely with Karen for six months to formulate a complete branding strategy that utilized several components:

+ A reworking of Karen’s brand image, including a new logo, colours, etc.
+ Brand Standards and Applications Guide. A comprehensive guide detailing everything needed to maintain brand consistency when franchising or expanding. Included were colour codes; a data CD containing all requisite files; and printing guidelines and layouts for business cards, brochures, letterhead, etc.
+ A website with a custom content management system that enabled Karen to add properties, satellite maps, floor plans, and sold tags. The site was also integrated with MLS for clients who wanted to search on their own.
+ Full stationery kit with envelopes, letterhead, brochures
+ A back cover advertisement on the Vancouver Yellow Pages

As a real estate agent in Vancouver’s high end market, Karen would be dealing with clientele who were accustomed to excellence. Exceptional customer service with a precise attention paid to detail was critical. Living Blueprint approached this by creating personalized packages for every client. Working with a photographer and copywriter, custom brochures were put together for every house listing over $1 million. Booklets printed on multiple media were provided to every client.

Living Blueprint’s efforts did not go unnoticed. The overwhelming response proved that, whether they were buying or selling, clients in Vancouver’s high-end real estate market were very appreciative of Karen’s willingness to provide that extra measure of service.
