Living Blueprint has been helping charities and good causes since the day we opened our doors and when this opportunity to help three very young girls raise money to build a well in Ethiopia we simply could not turn away.
I will write more on this post in the next few days but I want to get this up right away as they have an event on May 15th (this weekend) and I want to get the word out any way I can.
Please have a look.

We are proud to announce that Pacific Coastal Airlines has chosen to work with us on a year long print campaign. In a past life I was a ramp attendant at the Victoria Airport and I worked closely with Pacific Coastal but at that point my role was to martial the airplanes and put the baggage on and off. Because of my back-ground I have a unique insight as to the operations of their airline and the day-to-day routines.
Pacific Coastal is a family run airline and was founded by CEO and Director Daryl Smith over 30 years ago. Daryl’s roots are in the logging business, but he gained his reputation through 42 years of aviation experience as a pilot and owner of several regional carriers. With various degrees from the University of British Columbia and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University the Smith family oversees all operations in the Northern and Southern BC Regions alongside a staff who have previous experience with Air Canada, AirBC, Trans Provincial Airlines, Canadian Airlines, and more.

Aggressive, persistent and resourceful is a great place to start when describing the principals of this company. They began their company by finding a great car-washing system that uses dramatically less water than anything else on the market. No soap, No chemicals, No water run-off – in fact it only uses about one cup of water to clean an entire car. Compare that to a large automated machine that literally soaks / baths your car in almost endless amounts of water.
When they approached Living Blueprint to help them tell their story and communicate with the outside world they had already been to three other companies for quotes – the important thing to understand when choosing an agency is to find a group of people who understand you. Sure, they need good work and of course they need to make great websites but beyond that you need to make sure you all ‘Click’. We did just that. From our very first meeting to the day we handed over the final brand our relationship was clear, enjoyable and above all creative.
Living Blueprint worked closely with Pinpoint Tactics who worked on the company structure side of the project to make sure that not only did they look the part – but they are the part.
Watch out for this great new company in parking garages around the Vancouver area.

How does this fit with Living Blueprint? Easy, we had the privilege to build a website for their producer Brian Howes. Following a string of major successes they decided to get on-line and show the world who they are. We spent a couple of months with them to find out how to position the website and what should be focused on. The result was quite simple as we based our work on the great imagery from Micheal O’shea Photography, working from there we put together the core of the site that shows the Studio, Control Room and Lounge in a unique custom built photo gallery – sure, there are many flash based off the shelf picture viewers but have you ever tried to use those on your shinny new iPhone? Not to mention the fact that we really wanted this website to have a custom feel. We do not specialize in ‘off the shelf’ websites as our clients are not ‘off the shelf’ either.

The team here at Living Blueprint Creative are very proud of the overwhelming response we’ve seen from the updated website and branding campaign. We have launched the new website and are thrilled to have been a part of the creation of Uli’s new business outlook.
We are very happy with the site – but that is a bias statement as Tyson fed David several times and introduced us to many great beers. There is a Raspberry beer that we strongly recommend – it’s called ‘Lambric’ (yes Raspberry – don’t be so manly and give it a try, you’ll love it).

ABC Language Solutions has been around for more than 12 years, and has built a strong business based upon referrals and reputation. The decision was made to develop a recognizable brand and strategic outreach website through strategic development at Living Blueprint Creative.
The brand new site was created using a very strong Content Management System (CMS) designed so that the client could easily update and work with the site. Along with color theory, logo design, and photography direction, the CMS system is a staple in the creation of websites today. The ability to keep up-to-date on information is imparative for companies to control thier content and reach out to every target market.

Living Blueprint worked closely with The Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) this year, to do branding and promotional exercises for their yearly conference. We worked closely together for about a year, and helped them redefine how they work with and within the web. Strategically, we set up Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies and Website (human interaction) components to have a site that communicated and promoted the event.
The conference volunteers worked impressively hard to place the content on the website, and run the blog, twitter and various other social and viral media applications.

David Suzuki was one of the speakers at the event and gave a great talk about – well – what you would expect – the environment and our roles and responsibilities within it.
